What exactly is a bucket list? Well, a bucket list is one of those lists that you write down everything you want to complete in life before it sadly comes to an end. I know what you’re thinking, how in the world are you ever going to complete those adventures? Some of them might be ridiculously expensive and let’s be honest, who has the time? Unless your parents are super rich and don’t mind you not working to pay for your expenses. Well, not everybody writes down 101 things to do, but I certainly did. For the most part, some of my adventures mainly consisted of extreme ideas like skydiving, bungee jumping, cliff diving, participating in La Tomatina (a giant street food fight in Valencia, Spain), open track racing, and I know this is crazy but saving someone’s life is something I’ve always wanted to do. This doesn’t mean I’m an adrenaline junkie, but they are really cool things to do, I mean these are once in a lifetime things. Although they are crazy, I also have very simple goals. Some of them are to make a difference in someone’s life, learn how to horseback ride, visit the wonders of the world, and go to the carnival at Rio de Janeiro. Even though bucket lists may seem as though you have to travel the world, or potentially kill yourself in the process of trying something new, they can consist of changing your life at home. My ideas on my bucket list were to be with my family more and actually talk to them, and just be healthier. “The only people who fear death are those with regrets.” ~ Author Unknown. Well, hopefully before I pass away, I’m 1000 years old and fulfilling my wishes, hoping that in the end, there are no regrets. -Yancy Garcia

"Have A Baby By Me, Baby Be A Millionare"
By: Vanessa Negron
Some fans seem to think that the pregnancy is a scheme and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are only doing it for money and attention. The rest of the fans are excited to see what celeb couple Kimye's baby will look like. Will it have Kim's Armenian genes? or Will it have Kanye’s African American genes? Will it have Kim Kardashians sense of Fashion? Or Will it have Kanye's rap skills? Will Kimye's baby top JayZ and Beyonce's baby Blue Ivy? I guess we will all just have to wait and see. Until then keep the Twitter parody pages and the funny pictures coming.

We all have grown to love the Kardashian family and it looks like there might be a new addition. Rapper, Kanye West announced at his concert in Atlantic City that his girlfriend since April, Kim Kardashian is pregnant. Although the couple seems excited to start a family, fans seem to disagree. Sister Khloe Kardashian is excited for Kim and Kanye but people can’t help to think that the whole situation is unfair to Khloe. Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have been married for 4 years and have been trying to have a baby. Their attempts have failed and Khloe announced to her fans that she has been having fertility issues. Out of all the sisters Khloe is the only one married and without children and now Kim comes along after a public divorce and not being married nor engaged and is already having a baby.

Gene Rosen, a hero or a villain?

Gene Rosen, a Hero Or a Villain?
As many of you know, the Sandy Hook shooting was a tragedy that left our nation in shock. What you may have not heard of however, is what happened after the shooting. Victoria Soto, a courageous and brave teacher, sacrificed her life to save her students and help them escape the school during the shooting. As the kids ran away from the school, they stopped and sat at the end of a driveway, which is where Gene Rosen comes into the picture. The driveway belongs to Gene Rosen and he was shocked to see the kids “sitting in a neat semicircle”. Rosen then took the four girls and two boys into his home and tried to keep them occupied with toys as he tried to reach their parents. Rosen swarmed the media the days following the massacre because he wanted to “speak about the bravery of the children” but many people began to feel that he was a fraud. Rosen is now receiving threatening emails and phone calls from people who believe that the shooting was staged by the government and that he is receiving money in return for getting involved. One email he received said “How are all those little students doing? You know the ones that showed up at your house after the ‘shooting’. What is the going rate for getting involved in a gov’t sponsored hoax anyway?” A post entitled “Grieving Town Grandfather or Bad Crisis Actor” accuses Rosen for repeatedly changing his story and claim that he is just a government puppet that seeks to move gun control laws. His focus on the kids, the guns, and the traumatizing things they witnessed that day is what makes these conspirators believe that he is only seeking the public’s sympathy to further the government’s apparent personal agenda. The debate is intense as well as emotional for Connecticut residents but this is an issue that will not be solved anytime soon. At the end of the day, aside from the specifics on who is being genuine or not, lives were taken and parents were left completely distraught. Finger pointing is not effective and takes away from our efforts to raise awareness on mental health and keep our schools and communities safe so a tragedy like this does not happen again. The Flu is Upon Us Once Again
Beware the Flu. With winter already blowing in its blustery winds, the illness rate is on the rise. Be cautious, sickness is in the air once again. No one wants to get sick. For both those who have already had the flu or have yet to catch it here are some precautions that you can take:

- Always wash your hands after using the restrooms, before and after eating and whenever coming into contact with people (you never know who might have the flu or a cold).
- If you sneeze, sneeze into the crook of your arm or your shoulder not into your hands.
- Coughing is the same as sneezing, cough into your arm not your hands.
- If you haven't already, get a flu shot to help fight off the flu (but remember, the flue vaccine does not prevent the flu, it just helps you fight it off and reduces some of the more severe symptoms).
- When at home, clean off surfaces that people come into contact with often. Using a clean-wipe, thoroughly wipe all tables, counter-tops, house phones, doorknobs, lamps and any other common household surface.
- If you feel sick or have flu-like symptoms, stay home. Do not come to school if you think you might have the flu, if you do you will just be spreading the virus around and infecting everyone you come into contact with.

New Years Resolutions by Emily Grabauskas
Happy New Year! It is the perfect time to start a New Year’s resolution. Everyone always chooses one but it is not very often that it is carried through throughout the year. A New Year’s resolution is meant to be made a habit eventually so that it is always continued. Whether it is a resolution to go to the gym every day or visit your grandmother, it usually is something very important to you. This is why it should be continued throughout the year. People may forget, however, so here are some tips on how to remember your personal New Year’s resolution. Some ways to remember your New Year’s resolution are to first write it down. If you write things down, you are bound to remember it. Also, make a time goal for when you will carry out your resolution. If you are planning on going to the gym, make it so that you go every week or twice a week, but if you are going to visit your grandmother, make it every month or more if you desire. Once you decide how often you will make your resolution happen, keep a journal or a notebook. If you keep a log of what you are doing, then you can make sure that you are keeping up with your New Year’s resolution. Over time, this action will become natural and then you are on your way to making it a very positive habit. Isn't that what New Year’s resolutions are all about? If not, then think of something that means more to you personally. Because it is something that is very important to you, you don’t want to disappoint yourself by not following through. These are some ways that you can make sure you follow through with your New Year’s resolution. Good Luck!
